Birralee Staf
f
We are fortunate at Birralee to have a well-qualified and dedicated staff. Most of our staff are permanently settled in Trondheim and speak both English and Norwegian. Some are fluent in several other languages. The stability of our staff has enabled us to build up the experience and expertise in the special skills needed to provide international education.

School Facilities
Our school shares a building and playground with Kalvskinnet Primary School. The school building is situated in the city centre of Trondheim and is over 100 years old. It is a four-storied traditional building which has been completely refurbished and fully equipped. It contains, in addition to classrooms, a gymnasium, a home economics room, two libraries, an audio/visual room, a music room, a band room, textile and art rooms, a woodwork room, a dark room, a computer room and extra tutoring rooms. Playground facilities include climbing apparatus and an adventure playground.

Accreditation
Trondheim City Council - The Reception Class and Year 1 of Birralee are recognized and subsidized by Trondheim City Council and comply with the Norwegian Pre-school requirements.
In June 2004 we have been accredited with the status of independent school (friskole), which means that
we receive state support.
