Come join the fun at Playclub!

Playclub Club is one of the special services we provide for our families at Birralee. It is an after-school program for all children in the Reception Class and Year 1 (ages 4 and 5). Children are invited to remain after school from 14.00 to 16.30 and take part in age-appropriate games and activities while their parents are working. Play Club has a very informal atmosphere where the children can relax after their busy school day and enjoy the social interaction and extra language acquisition time that the program offers.

Each afternoon of Play Club includes the following:

• Outdoor playtime of thirty to forty-five minutes to re-energize the children after their school day.
• Snacks prepared in our school kitchen. A nutritious snack is included in the cost of Play Club. The food ranges from sandwiches and cereal to soup and porridge. Fresh fruit and vegetables finish the meal.
• Quiet playtime in the Reception Classroom. Children take part in games and activities or relax and read books with the Play Club supervisors while waiting for their parents.
