The students enjoyed the great weather during their Ski Day.

Year 8 had a great day at NTNU. They learned about endothermic and exothermic chemical
reactions and got instructions on how to perform their own hot and cold chemistry.

They poured solutions onto various rocks to see which disolved (sedimentary/igneous rocks etc.).
Then they observed which rocks contained iron by using magnets and chemical solutions.

They also observed how much tar ends up on cotton wool after smoking a cigarette and what
a
disgusting colour it turns into (a machine 'smoked' the cigarette, I hasten to add!)

Year 9 went skating at Leangen for gym.

The Middle School students had a Math Quiz show in Spanish (!) during their Assembly.

Year 6 visited Vitensenteret where they where they performed 'heart surgery'
using Lego Mindstorm Technology.

Year 5 presented an Assembly about the Sami people.

The infants celebrated International Book Day.
