Quarantine upon arrival from abroad

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We look forward to welcoming old and new students to ASP next week! We are hereby sharing some important practical information related to Covid-19.

Traffic Light Model Covid-19: Orange level Before the summer holidays, the Norwegian Public Health Authorities introduced a traffic light model with a green, yellow and red level. These levels show which preventative infection control measures the schools should follow. As we are currently still on the orange level in Trondheim, we need to unfortunately cancel the planned coffee and tea morning for ASP parents on August 3.  ASP Cohorts during ASP Holiday Club in August ASP students will be divided into two separate groups (cohorts). Students from Year 1 and Year 2 will be in one cohort, as will the students from Year 3 and Year 4. The students from the two different chorts will not mix during ASP and will use their own entrance to the playground. Year 1 and Year 2 will use the entrance at Bispegata. Students in Year 3 and Year 4 will use the "back entrance" at Sverres Gate.  Important infection control measures during Covid-19 (Orange-level)

  • Students should not attend school or ASP if they have mild respiratory symptoms and should remain at home until they have been symptom free for 1 day.

  • Students who are in close contact with a member of a household with a confirmed case of covid-19 must be in isolation/quarantined. It is the health service that decides who should be in isolation and how long for.

  • Increased focus on hygiene and cleaning during ASP

  • No parents or other visitors allowed on school premises. Parents collect and drop their children off at the school gate.

Quarantine upon arrival from abroad Please note that anyone arriving in Norway from abroad shall be in quarantine for 10 days, with the exception of specified countries in Europe with sufficiently low transmission (please see the latest map and table on the website of the Norwegian Health Authorities  The areas that are exempt from quarantine duty may change rapidly, so please make sure to check before coming to school.  Questions We look forward to welcoming your child to ASP soon.
