Resuming Classroom Teaching Y1-Y4

Firstly, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your support and cooperation during the period of the school building being closed. It has been a long time since we have been able to welcome our students in person. Together, I believe we have maintained a positive digital learning environment, in which all of our students have been able to share some amazing learning via Seesaw. It has been a pleasure to see how adaptable the children have been as they have learned in a new way. We have now consolidated the guidance that we have received from the various agencies in order to make the transition back into the school building as positive as we can for our students. Today we have been working as a staff to make sure that we are fully prepared to implement all the measures that have been put in place. We believe that it is important that all of our families know what measures have been put in place for the students next week. The attached guidance provides information about our measures as well as guidance from Udir about when students and staff should and should not be in school. We look forward to welcoming your children back into the school building on Monday between 8:30 and 9:00. Morning Club and ASP will be open as normal although it will be held outside on the playground. Further information about ASP routines will be sent out on Friday. In the meantime, stay safe! Best wishes to you all,

Elin J. Hitchman
