About the position

​We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled on-call supply teachers who will work with us in shorter and longer assignments in the school year 2024-2025. This is an open advertisement and relevant candidates will be called in for an interview. Starting date by agreement.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about student wellbeing and have the ability to make a difference in the journey of our children.

Your responsibilities:

  • carry out teaching lessons for absent teachers;

  • contribute to students' well-being and learning; 

  • to follow up students in various activities and in various arenas;

  • other relevant tasks such as lunch and playground duty.

Your qualifications: 

  • Qualified teacher 

  • Fluent in English

Your skills:
• Clear and warm adult who is present for the children;
• Good at building relationships with children and adults;
• Patient and caring with a determination to bring out the very best in children;
• Ability to stay calm and objective when presented with challenging behaviours;
• Ability to work with parents;
• Ability to create trust by being open, sincere and professional;
• A positive attitude, a good mood and contributes to well-being in the workplace;

• You have high ambitions on behalf of the pupils
• You prepare precisely and well for the school day
• Flexible, solution-oriented and accepts that your work tasks may change when needed.

Suitability for the position (personlig egenhet) will be taken into consideration.

Salary and benefits

The position is paid as a teacher according to the latest Hovedtariffoppgjøret (KS). The successful candidate will normally be paid from 548.400 to 778.000 NOK per year (for a full time position) depending on qualifications and seniority.

A 2% contribution to the Pension Fund is deducted from the salary, as is a small deduc.
