Big Brains in Year 6

The Brainwave Unit for 11-12-year-olds starts by considering how our brains change as we grow up, and the subsequent needs that are specific to the teenage brain. The unit moves on to include some strategies such as building a community, learning to be mindful, and understanding the brain and the breaks it needs. These strategies are to help learners manage some of the challenges that they may face as they begin middle school.
