Friskoledagen 2025

Next Wednesday, November 5, our school will take part in Friskoledagen — The National Celebration of Independent Schools in Norway.

This day is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the value of diversity, freedom, and choice in education. Friskoledagen reminds us that the right to choose a school for one’s child is a human right, and that independent schools play an important role in offering families meaningful alternatives within the Norwegian education system.

In Trondheim, we are fortunate to have several independent schools — Montessori, Steiner, Christian, international, and others — that together enrich our local community.

Our students will join other schools on Trondheim Torg for a joyful celebration with music, dance, and short speeches, including greetings from the Mayor of Trondheim, Kent Ranum, and the City Commissioner for Education, Lucie Katrine Eidem.

We are proud to participate and represent our school in this celebration of educational diversity and shared values.
