We have some more exciting news from our Mathematics department to share!
Only two weeks after Year 9 won the national final in the UngeAbel Maths Competition, we can now announce the remarkable success of multiple Birralee students (Years 5, 6, 7 and 8) who have secured Top 10 positions in NTNU’s National Kenguru Maths Competition.
Among these outstanding achievers, a noteworthy highlight comes from our Year 5 class, where one student emerged victorious, claiming the top spot in the competition! These exceptional achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion for mathematics that is fostered within our school community.
We believe that the success of these students also reflects the supportive learning environment at Birralee. Each student’s journey to the top 10 demonstrates not only their individual talents, but also the collaborative spirit and encouragement found among peers, staff and parents that helped to get them there.
