We had the pleasure of welcoming a special guest to Birralee today: Mrs Lucie Katrine Eidem, Trondheim’s City Council Leader for Youth and Education (Byråd for oppvekst og utdanning i Trondheim kommune). Mrs Eidem aims to visit a school or kindergarten every week, and today she stopped by Birralee to find out more about us and the international education we offer.
During her visit, we had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about schooling in Trondheim. Mrs Eidem also engaged with our students during the classroom visits. As always, our students were excited to share their learning.

Year 7 students explained what a healthy diet should look like during Science Class.
It was a wonderful surprise to learn that Mrs Eidem had visited Birralee before. In fact, she once daily walked the same halls we do now when she was a young student in Mrs. Buller’s Reception Class over 40 years ago!

We appreciate the time Mrs Eidem took from her busy schedule to visit us.
