About UngeAbel

UngeAbel is a mathematics competition for basic groups/classes in Year 9. UngeAbel consists of two preliminary rounds, an in-depth assignment, semi-finals and finals.

The assignments are created in collaboration between the Nordic countries. In Norway, the Mathematics Center contributes to the assignments.

The assignments in UngeAbel give students the opportunity to solve problems, talk about mathematics, use many representations and explore relationships.
